ROSELAND, NEW JERSEY, AUGUST 17, 2007 - The Gale Real Estate Services Company, a subsidiary of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (NYSE:CLI), today announced the promotion of Stephen P. Trapp to president of The Gale Construction Company, LLC. Mr. Trapp previously served as senior vice president, managing many critical company operations while also serving as project executive for both Gale development projects and significant third-party construction projects.

Mr. Trapp brings more than 22 years of experience within the commercial construction and real estate development industry with widely recognized organizations. During his career, he has built a proven track record, having implemented key operational processes such as estimating, scheduling, cost reporting, and quality assurance; and has also guided the successful delivery of dozens of new and renovation construction projects.

Mr. Trapp earned his Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University and a Master's degree in construction management from The University of California. He is also a licensed professional engineer.

Steve Trapp replaces Thomas Walsh, who has resigned his position effective September 14 to pursue other career interests.
