The Gale Construction Company, LLC, a subsidiary of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (NYSE: CLI), has completed construction management services for the renovation of The Fountain Spa located in the Riverside Square Mall in Hackensack, New Jersey.

"The Fountain Spa was a challenging project to work on because of the water features," stated Kevin Herb of the Gale Construction Company. "In addition to the service stations for the spa treatments, the design includes two intricate water features that create an overall serene atmosphere conducive to the spa experience."

The Gale Construction Company completed the 12,500 square-foot facility, constructing the building's core and shell, as well as the interior fit-out. The space includes high-end finishes, utilizing both stone and wood, and water features.

"The Fountain Spa's water features provide visitors with a treat for the eyes and ears," said Joan Fontaine, executive director of The Fountain Spa. "Guests consistently comment about how the fountains add greatly to their peaceful experience."

The lobby fountain is approximately four feet in height and adorned with cherubs. The other fountain is located in the spa's Tranquility room. Water cascades over a ceiling-to-floor surface of clear glass into a stone bed, and through that glass spa guests have a view of an outdoor garden. This is The Fountain Spa's second location; the first is at 1100 State Route 17 in Ramsey, New Jersey. The architect on this project was Point Design.
