ROSELAND, N.J., JANUARY 5, 2009 - The Gale Construction Company, LLC, a subsidiary of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (NYSE: CLI), recently completed the construction of the new Far Hills-Bedminster firehouse located at 100 Miller Lane in Bedminster, N.J.

"Having previously constructed Bedminster's municipal building in 2004, the Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department retained Gale Construction Company based on our demonstrated ability to deliver state-of-the-art facilities on time and under budget."

The new 13,000 square-foot, pre-engineered building features a standing seam metal roof, a brick façade, and five fire truck bays with 19' ceilings. The building's design also includes a command tower with an operations center.

"In working with a team consisting of the client, architect, and engineer, we were able to incorporate sustainable design elements into the facility without compromising the building's superior aesthetics," said Gabe Sasso, team leader and senior vice president of the Gale Construction Company. "By utilizing an infrared heating system in the Apparatus Room, and enhanced insulation systems in the exterior walls and roof, both initial and ongoing energy costs have been significantly reduced, creating a model of environmental efficiency and a savings for taxpayers."
